Current as of July 2026

Who we are

Travel Doctors Brisbane is a registered business name of SP MGMT Pty Ltd (ABN 95 644 158 805), which also trades as Aspire Medical Group. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean SP MGMT Pty Ltd.

This website helps travellers find travel health advice and vaccinations, and currently refers people who enquire to Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba, where consultations and vaccinations take place.

We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. As a health service provider we are covered by the Act regardless of our size. Health information is treated as sensitive information and gets a higher level of protection.

What this policy covers

This policy covers information you give us through this website and when you contact us about travel health services.

Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba is a separate business. Once you attend an appointment there, your clinical record is held and managed by that practice under its own privacy policy, which you can read at oxfordstmedical.com.au/privacy-policy. This page deals with the website.

What information we collect

Through this website we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to write in the message field of our contact form.

People often use that message field to describe their travel plans and their health. That can include destinations, travel dates, vaccination history, current health conditions, pregnancy, age, and private health insurance details. Information of that kind is health information, which is sensitive information under the Privacy Act.

Please only include what you need to. If you have detailed medical information to share, it is safer to bring it to your appointment than to type it into a web form.

We also collect technical information automatically when you visit, described in the website section below.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you, through the contact form on this site, by phone, by email, or in person.

We may also collect information from other people where you have consented or where the law allows, for example from a referring doctor, a family member, or your employer if your employer has arranged travel health services for you.

You can deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym when you are asking a general question. We cannot arrange an appointment or give you personal health advice anonymously.

Why we collect it

We collect and use your information to respond to your enquiry, to arrange an appointment for you at Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba, to give you travel health information relevant to your trip, and to meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Enquiries sent through this website are passed to the practice manager at Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba, a separate business, so that your enquiry can be answered and an appointment arranged. That is the main reason we collect your information.

We may also disclose information to the service providers who host this website and run our systems, to your employer where your employer has arranged and is paying for travel health services for you and you have consented, and to anyone else where you have consented or where we are required or permitted by law.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for marketing. We do not supply it to pharmaceutical companies, researchers or universities.

Our website, cookies and analytics

Some information is collected automatically when you visit this site.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It collects things like your approximate location, the pages you view, and the device and browser you use, and Google may set cookies on your device to do this. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

The site is built and hosted on Webflow, and we use Webflow Optimize to present relevant content to visitors. Webflow's privacy policy is at webflow.com/legal/privacy.

Some pages include an embedded Google Map, and Google may set cookies when that map loads.

When you submit our contact form, the submission is stored by Webflow and emailed to Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, parts of the site may not work as well.

Overseas disclosure

The services we use to run this website, including our website host and our analytics provider, are operated by companies based overseas, mainly in the United States. Information you submit through this website may therefore be stored on, or accessible from, servers outside Australia.

We take reasonable steps to use providers that handle information securely and consistently with Australian privacy requirements.

Clinical records held by Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba are held in Australia.

How we store and protect your information

Website enquiries are held in our website platform and in the practice email account they are sent to.

We protect this information with measures including password protection, access controls, and confidentiality obligations on the people who handle it.

Nothing sent over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We take reasonable steps to protect your information but we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us over the internet.

If something goes wrong

If we have a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act.

How long we keep it

We keep website enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to meet our legal obligations. Once an enquiry has been actioned we remove it from the website platform.

If you go on to become a patient, the record of your care is kept by Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba under that practice's own retention arrangements, which follow accepted professional standards for health records.

Automated decision making

We do not use computer programs to make automated decisions about you that affect your rights or interests. If that changes we will update this policy and explain what information is used and what kinds of decisions are made.

Accessing and correcting your information

You have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete.

To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. We will ask you to verify your identity and to put your request in writing.

We will respond within 30 days. In some cases a reasonable fee may apply to cover the cost of retrieving and copying records, and we will tell you what that is before we do the work.

There are limited situations where we may refuse access, for example where giving access would pose a serious threat to someone's life, health or safety, or would unreasonably affect another person's privacy. If we refuse we will tell you why in writing and explain how to complain.

If your request relates to your clinical record from an appointment, contact Oxford Street Medical Centre Bulimba directly, because that practice holds the record.

Making a complaint

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first. Write to our Privacy Officer at the address or email below with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner:
